Once I started, I couldn't put the thriller down: the look behind the scenes and into human abysses, the mysterious ending and the language of the obviously worldly author make for pure reading pleasure.

A school director is murdered, a teacher is under suspicion because he was the last person in the school building before the murder. This teacher is certainly not an innocent lamb, that soon becomes clear. But did he actually murder his boss?
It was with a mixture of excitement and horror that I read the passages from this teacher's diary, from which it becomes clear that this is a man traumatized since childhood. A lover of the protagonist plays a dubious role, she seems to be the driving force behind the murder plot. A briskly written and exciting book that also critically examines the German school system.
